Privacy Policy

Account information: name, username, phone number or email, and profile photo when you sign up.

Location data: with your permission, we use your device's location to show you nearby shops, offers, and to power features like distance-based search and directions.

Content you provide: photos, posts, comments, poll responses, and product images you upload.

Usage data: how you interact with the Platform — likes, follows, searches, views — used to personalize your feed and improve recommendations.

Device information: basic technical data such as device type and browser, used for security and troubleshooting.

To operate core features: showing you nearby businesses, personalizing your feed, powering follow-based updates regardless of your current location, and enabling business owners to manage their shop.

To power AI features: photos you upload for visual product search or product listings may be analyzed by AI (including third-party AI providers such as Google) to identify what's in the image and match it with similar products. Search photos are processed only to return your results and are not used to identify you personally.

To keep the Platform safe: detecting spam, fraud, and content that violates our Terms of Service.

To communicate with you: order/subscription confirmations, important account or safety notices, and optional product updates.

Storelligent is a hyperlocal platform, so location is central to how it works. You can turn location access off at any time in your device settings; some features (like nearby discovery) will not work fully without it.

Shops you follow remain visible to you regardless of your current location — only the general discovery/search radius depends on your live location.

With business owners: when you comment, message, or interact with a shop, that business owner can see the relevant interaction (e.g. your comment or your poll vote), similar to how any public post works.

With service providers: payment details are processed by Razorpay; AI-powered features may send images/text to our AI provider (Google) to generate results. These providers only receive what's necessary to perform their function.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Storelligent, our users, or the public.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Some content (such as deleted posts) may be retained in an anonymized/aggregated form for analytics purposes shown only to the business owner, not to the public.

You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time; see "Your Rights" below.

You can access, update, or delete most of your information directly from your account settings.

You can request a copy of your data or full account deletion by contacting privacy@storelligent.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law.

We use browser local storage and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, and improve performance. We do not use these technologies for third-party advertising.

Storelligent is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required by your local law). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below this age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "last updated" date above and, for significant changes, make reasonable efforts to notify users in-app.
